Building the fibre network in Herink – UPDATE as of 4 January 2021

Given the growing number of enquiries, we would like to update you on the current status and the planned progress of building the fibre network in the municipality of Herink.
At the end of last year, existing networks were marked out with coloured markings, which you may have noticed in the municipality. The new planned route of the optical networks was also marked out in bright yellow. Until 30 November 2020 the optical network was being laid in Do Višňovky street, and from 28 November also in selected parts of Olivova street. All work in these streets has now been completed.
Work on the optical network has also been completed in Krátká, Nad Rybníkem, Květinová, Fíková, Heřmánková, Dlouhá, Na Hrázi, Rovná, U Strouhy and U Petrklíče, Palmova and Spojovací streets, and the optical network has been laid into the municipality of Herink from the municipality of Oleška alongside the cycle path.

The network is always laid on land owned by the municipality. Exceptions are possible only by agreement with the owner of private land, which we always arrange with the owners in good time. At the same time, we always notify owners well in advance of any restriction on access to their plot, and once the cables are laid, we restore the site to its original condition as quickly as possible.
Route
We are currently building the main trunk route, from which the branches will be gradually completed. We would like to finish the main trunk route before Christmas, by 20 December. However, the completion date depends on the weather.

Once the construction of the optical network is complete, you will be able to take advantage of one of the internet plans designed for the optical network, and of the Kuki TV or Sledování.TV television service.
