Where to watch Formula 1?

After ten years, Formula 1 is returning to the line-up of the Nova TV group. However, you will not find it on the standard channels or on the existing Nova Sport 1 and Nova Sport 2. If you want to watch the F1, F2, F3 categories or the women's F1 Academy, you need to subscribe to the Nova Sport 5 channel. With us you can also watch Formula 1 on the Skylink TV offer at https://uvtnet.cz/en/internet-tv/skylink/. Where else can you watch Formula 1? Read on.

Availability and viewing options

Nova Sport 5 is the main option for Czech viewers who want to watch broadcasts with Czech commentary. The main commentators this year will be Josef Král, Števo Eisele and Pavel Fabry.

Subscription and distribution options

However, Nova Sport 5 is currently available only on O2 TV, Telly and Skylink. On O2 TV you will find it in all plans, including Sport Premium and Sport Max. Telly offers the channel in its Střední and Velký plans, as well as in the Sport thematic package. It is available on Skylink at least in the Kombi+ plan, which you can get for just CZK 289.

Alternative viewing options

If you do not need Czech commentary, you can watch the races on the ORF channel with German commentary. Almost every IPTV provider offers ORF. Another option is the official F1 TV Pro app with English commentary, which lets you watch broadcasts for a monthly or annual fee.
