SERVICE DESCRIPTION

This is an internet connection with a speed of 2 Gbps (2,000 Mbps), provided via the fibre network of ÚVT Internet or via the fibre network of a CETIN partner.

Download speed 2,000 Mbps. Upload speed 1,000 Mbps.

Service availability

Internet plans with a connection speed of 2 Gbps are available at selected addresses across the whole of the Czech Republic. You can check availability on the home page.

Who the service is for

This plan will be used mainly by users who work intensively with the cloud and need to transfer larger volumes of data, by online gamers, or by households with a large number of connected devices.

INSTALLATION AND EQUIPMENT

For internet plans with speeds above 1,000 Mbps, suitable equipment must be used. Not every computer can transfer such a speed, and the same applies to Wi-Fi routers. During installation, a technician connects the building (family house, flat) to the fibre internet and fits the selected device (e.g. CCR2004-1G-12S+2XS). A Wi-Fi router is then connected to this device, which will provide wireless distribution of the internet in the home. To transfer speeds of 2,000 Mbps, an additional S+RJ10 module must be connected to the device. The customer can obtain the module themselves, or buy it from us.
