What is ChatGPT and why should you start using it?

ChatGPT is a tool you chat with – you ask a question in your own words and it answers in continuous text. It's useful when you need something explained, summarised or rephrased, or help with writing something. But it's just one of many artificial intelligence tools; you'll find an overview of the others in a separate article.
Use at home
At home, you can use it, for example, to get a recipe for a meal. Instead of complicated searching on Google and clicking through adverts and a flood of pop-up windows, you simply ask the chat:

Use in business
In the office, ChatGPT can serve as an assistant that saves you a lot of time. Learn to use ChatGPT for finding information and you'll save a heap of time every day. For example:

Safer information searching
As I've mentioned a few times above, the standard way of searching for information via Google and the like can sometimes lead to an unpleasant visit to a phishing website or a page full of adverts and pop-up windows, which won't give you the information you're after anyway. Helper for editorial work
I also use this tool to write articles more quickly. If you want to do a proper job, however, don't copy its texts, but use it for inspiration and write the article in your own words. The search algorithm is not stupid, so “instant” content won't get you to the top positions. All the text from ChatGPT is, however, unique, so you won't be committing plagiarism.
Conclusion
When the internet started arriving in homes, I was still a little boy. This tool is a bit like the arrival of the internet, and we have a great opportunity to be there for it. So be there. Don't be conservative, because otherwise we would have no way of moving forward.
ChatGPT is, however, just one of many artificial intelligence tools – if you're curious about what exists today and what each one is good for, take a look at the overview of types of artificial intelligence.
