How does it work?
We constantly monitor the status of your primary internet connection. If there is a service outage, the backup connection via a 5G modem is activated immediately.
As soon as the primary connection is working again, we switch you back to your primary internet connection. Everything happens automatically, so you will not even notice the switch.
Backup connection via 5G
If your primary services are disrupted, it starts automatically and immediately, and you will not even notice that the service has switched to a different type of internet connection. As soon as the primary connection is working again, it automatically switches back. It uses the 5G mobile data network, which works independently of your primary connection. Your work on the internet is not restricted, i.e. your computer has a constant internet connection, even during an outage.
The service includes:
- loan of a powerful router matched to your connection speed
- complete device configuration
- travel and professional installation by a technician on site
We set the price individually – it depends on the speed of your main internet line and on the availability of the 5G signal at the installation site. Before we make an offer, we carry out a technical survey (at ÚVT's expense), during which we measure the availability of the 5G signal. If 5G is not available at the site, we will propose a backup line using a different technology.
