About Smíchov

Smíchov (German: Smichow) is a Prague city district and cadastral area on the left bank of the Vltava, belonging to the municipal district Prague 5. To the north it borders Malá Strana, to the south Hlubočepy, and to the south-west Radlice. The Smíchov cadastral area extends to the west, north along Plzeňská Street, as far as the border with Motol. Plzeňská Street in its upper part, except for short sections, forms the border between Smíchov and Košíře.
