About the village Praskolesy

The municipality of Praskolesy lies in the Beroun district, Central Bohemian Region. It lies on the Červený potok stream about 3 km south-east of the municipality of Žebrák and 3.5 km north-east of the municipality of Hořovice. It has 896 inhabitants in approximately 360 houses. In 2016, the village of Praskolesy celebrated 800 years since its founding. On this occasion, the bridge over the Červený potok was renamed the “Jára Cimrman bridge”. Both Zdeněk Svěrák and Archbishop Dominik Duka attended the blessing of the bridge. A railway line and several bus routes run through the village.

The technician was very helpful: he installed a new antenna on the roof in frost and snow, chose the best available transmitter, carried out the switch to UVT and tested everything, including setting up the public address.
