About Hostomice

Hostomice (also Hostomice pod Brdy) is a small town in the Beroun district. It lies about 10 km east of Hořovice and 10 km north-west of Dobříš, in a wide basin on the Chumava stream below the north-western foot of the Hřebeny range. Including its associated hamlets, the town has around 1,800 inhabitants. It is often referred to as Hostomice pod Brdy after the name of the post office and railway station, and this is also the name of the cadastral area.
