Bojanovice is a municipality named after a certain Božan of Žehrovice, to whom the villages of Malá Lečice and Senešnice are also dedicated. It lies in Prague-West district, Central Bohemian Region. It is about 18 km south of the edge of Prague, 6 km east of Mníšek pod Brdy and east of Čisovice, on a wooded hill rising from the left bank of the Vltava, in the valley of the Kocába stream and its tributaries. To the east it borders Masečín(Štěchovice). It includes an attractive natural and cottage area. 470 people live here.
